                                                          World War I Victory     Army Occupation WWI

World War I Victory Medal - Authorized in 1919 for award to officers and enlisted men of the United States armed forces who had an honorable record for active duty between April 6, 1917 and November 11, 1918 or for service with the Allied Expeditionary Force (AEF) in European Russia, November 11, 1918 to August 5, 1919, and in Siberia, November 23, 1918 to April 1, 1920.

Army of Occupation of Germany Medal - Established on November 21, 1941 and awarded to all officers and enlisted men of the Army of Occupation who served in Germany or Austria-Hungary from November 12, 1918 to July 11, 1923.  It was also awarded to members of the Navy and Marine Corps who served ashore during the same time and in the same areas.
